Liturgical dance is defined as a sacred dance that is holy, set apart and done only for the glory of the Lord in a public worship setting (Brown-Phillips, 2019). Nick Kiefer was called by God to worship Him in dance. He first danced for God in 2013 at Seward Park in Seattle. At that time, he was a martial artist and did not have any training in dance. He created his own dance moves in order to worship God. Since then, he has sought out training and has learned about movement, worship, and the Bible.

I practice a combination of liturgical dance and worship flags. My liturgical dance is a mixture of Horton, lyrical dance, and interpretive dance. I choreograph all my own dance routines.
